Great !!
Can somebody post the address text of Jim McDermot??
PLEASE DO NOT (repeat NOT) publish the text of his speech here publicly without IV core approval.
I could hardly believe my hears!
I feel that McDermot to some extent did us a disservice. He spoke for his own agenda, and if IV had any chances to vet what he was to say, I certainly would have stood up and said either ask him to remove certain lines from his speech or thanks but no thanks.
If he was not a US Senator I would have been tempted to facilitate a microphone malfunction.
He was invited not to press his agenda, but to speak about our issues. Whether I or anyone else agree or disagree with his agenda is not the point. It was an inappropriate use of the forum.
